Dear Mr Naurana,
How are you now? Hope you’re great. Are you still teaching in Xinghua Primary? When was the last time I saw you? 6 years ago? That was so long ago. I really want to tell you how great I’ve been and that I’m in Ngee Ann Polytechnic now. Yes, I bet you didn’t expect me to when I was in your Primary 5 and 6 class. DO you know that you were and still am one of my influential teachers?
I want to let you know and see how much I have changed over the years. I’m no longer that naughty kid who always foold around in school and not handing in your homeworks. I don’t daydream in class anymore and I don’t play my gameboy as well. I have grown more matured. I guess the change in the studying environment helped me a lot. I moved to Tampines in Secondary 1 and I started to take my studies seriously. I didn’t want to repeat the mistakes I did in Primary school.
I really wish I could talk to you face to face now. I miss the times we all had together in the 5/6A4 class. I want to tell u every bit of what’s been happening to me since primary school graduation. I’ve applied most of the personal things you shared with all of us. I remembered you telling me not to give up hope when I got posted to the Normal Academic stream in which you reminded me that you yourself were retained in your first year of JC and that you kept on trying and succeeded on to the university.
I didn’t give up and here I am gunning for a diploma, all thanks to your advises.I don’t know about the others because like you, I’ve lost contact with everyone. I really hope you are able to read this. Do take care and I hope your kids and wife are doing well.
Best wishes,
Fazwan
